Image Services Supervisor (Corporate Records Supervisor)
General Definition
We are in search of an Image Services Supervisor with exceptional organizational skills and strong management abilities. The perfect candidate will use these skills to effectively delegate tasks and motivate their team to efficiently reach their objectives.
As an Image Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and enforcing the NCFB Records Retention Schedule. This involves storing, accessing, and destroying corporate records according to the schedule. In addition, you will supervise team members responsible for preparing, validating, and scanning insurance policy records.
Special Training, Education, Knowledge and Skills:
Associates degree or higher required.
Familiarity with principles of records management concepts, theories, and practices.
Preference given to applicants with comparable records management experience and/or prior supervisory experience.
Proven ability to monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
Possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate the strong ability to problem solve using logical and analytical skills.
Capacity to collaborate with and oversee others.
Major Duties of Position:
Monitor and maintain the Records Management Program’s policies, procedures, and the Records Retention Schedules. Develop, recommend and implement changes and improvements to the program.
Maintain and oversee the corporate Records Retention Schedule.
Oversee the off-site storage procedures for paper documents for the company including the Home Office, District Claims offices, and County offices. Including the transportation, retention, and destruction of records by an off-site vendor.
Review and make necessary recommendations for changes to procedures as they relate to retention and destruction of policy records (both paper and electronic).
Supervise team members responsible for preparing, validating, and scanning insurance policy records.
Establish and maintain production and quality reports, as well as set standards and controls to assure an effective and efficient section.
Evaluate the projections related to operations, staffing, and expenses, and provide recommendations for necessary corrections and enhancements for the unit.
Direct the work activities, review performance, and provide training and professional development of staff.
