My name is Brad Matthews, and I currently reside in Gold Hill. I grew up in North Carolina and graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. After high school and college, I chased my dream of becoming a professional baseball player and was blessed enough to be able to do so as a minor league baseball player in the Tampa Bay Rays organization. After professional baseball, I moved back home and helped run a couple of indoor baseball facilities between Mooresville and Concord.

In 2020, I decided to make the jump into insurance and started by serving my community by selling life insurance. I later decided to continue my insurance education by adding my Health Insurance license followed by my Medicare License. Recently, I have added Property and Casualty to my portfolio. I am excited about the opportunity to be able to help my clients in every aspect of their financial journey by protecting what they have worked hard to create.

In my time away from work, I enjoy spending it with my wife Mellena and two sons, Bradley and Wrigley (our feral child). I love to serve my church as I am the head of the Men’s Ministry at Greater Life Church in Locust, NC as well as serving on the worship team and Royal Rangers. I enjoy sports, anything outdoors, and coaching my oldest son's jiu-jitsu class.
